Intro and Who This Class is For

You know what this class is for? The people that are sitting in their home, so they're they're pushing themselves and they have careers and have families to feed, and they have all these things, and andi, I don't really believe that lighting posting these two subjects, of course business composition, everything comes together as a package, but the lighting part it's, where photography is all about lighting is the you know that the reason why we do pictures this way do lighting but lighting so the most complicated subject I've ever seen that people have the hardest time with it it's between posting on lighting I don't know which one is worse, but lighting is because of this technology that keeps coming out people just keep thinking lighting they associate lighting with technology or lighting with new new whatever the newest and cool this light, this or the coolest light mortar fires are on. At the end of the day, we'll get confused about what are all these four when I am, I really going...

to need them? Can I carry all this stuff with me? I can't afford any of this stuff because it's super expensive, so I remember being super frustrated for the majority of my career not know still now, but a little less now, and I remember thinking if I could create the ultimate lighting class the class that would answer all my questions I mean most of them is impossible toe all of them but that class that we just answer all of my questions what class would that be and that's how I designed this course this course is for those guys that have headaches are having pains in their heads about confusion on they're just saying this is ridiculous I can't I can't I can't do what these people do um this class is for you this class is also for you if you're realistic about things, I'm going to go over how to do lighting without any assistance without any equipment andi I'm goingto optimize the quality of the photographs with that setup but that's never going to compare toe or it's not going to be the same as when you have multiple setups or you have two assistants or one assistant people ask me all the time how many asses is that? You bring out a wedding like fifty and I said no I don't know why people think that I have this crazy set up on I don't deal with any problems I deal with the same crazy situations I should portrait I should fashion I should weddings when it is not even the majority of my business anymore it's ah it's a pretty divided up business that I have in terms of the disciplines of photography this class is not just for it's not at all for people who are wearing white dresses and tuxedoes this's for lighting the human face, lighting the body, understanding how to make people look their best with light how do you make a person with a round face look less round or with a very banana face? Look less banana? You know, like it's for it's, for the type of is for people who want lighting that when you see the photo, the person the subject's kind of pops out of the paper pops out of the screen like it's just gorgeous on to me that requires and this is the key to this entire course. Ah lot off finessing little tiny micro movements ofthe light on understanding lighting. Well, the good news about living is that lighting is not hard at all because it's it abides by the same loss, right? Light never changes. Posting is really complicated. Boasting can't be anything but lighting never changes. So once you understand those tiny little principles, everything is good to go. You just fair game it's like german german never changes the grammar you. Once you learned grammar in german, you just start throwing words out and you're speaking german, you know, but you try that with english and you learned like, for example, the word stomach is supposed to be stomach but somehow americans call its stomach and then just like why? Because it's a new rule. So in english you learn the rules and then you learn the first ten thousand exceptions to that rule. Very frustrating. I also think this class is for people who want to spice up their photography. I consider lighting like the hot us off the hot us off photography. It is your spice. Imagine if I gave you this is like a thing I grew up with in mexico. You buy corn on the street, you know the corn. You put the salt in the chili, okay, imagine I put a corn in front of you. It looks like a corn. It smells like a corn. It is a corn, but it's got until hot sauce to it that's a sin it's a bad thing on I think we went to create corn. You can't help, but just when I like destroy it in your mouth is that makes sense you don't want to do is look at it. You want to just be like this is all right. This is what we want. Um if you everyone had to make anything tastes better, you just put hot sauce. I need any photography if you ever wanna make something look better, I'd put more attention to light you know I make sure that your life is your hot sauce to your photography that's the best way to remember that so for that reason I wanted to give you guys something let me see here a sec hot sauce is for everybody okay you guys get this will remind you of this class on you will remember that whenever you start whenever you start to feel lazy about your lighting you remember the hot sauce were given to you a creative life we thought your lighting your liking hot sauce in your photography okay so you're getting the oh brother that's hot way there's that one on dh what else do we need him anymore what are you gonna do to your lighting your going to spice it up what are you gonna do when you feel lazy you're going to spice it up what are you gonna do when you feel like you don't have time to light up anything you're gonna find time and spice it up what do you do when you say you can't afford the gear you're going to find money you're going to spice it up one more how many more do we need one one one for the internet one for the internet to spice it up you don't forget that that's for you have a narrow my favorite you got joshua you get jalapeno pepper sauce organic this is if I paid an extra dollar for that one, okay. Um, I want you to remember that throughout his three days, it is the hot sauce that we're after. Okay, if if there were pictures, have hot sauce, you got it.

Im sitting in my office listening to Roberto with my earplugs on and I know I have already left 2 reviews but he's so funny…. my family comes into the office asking me "whats so funny" Roberto makes me laugh out loud with his jokes but at the same time, he is SO great at teaching. Im watching for second time to make sure all his good info is ingrained. HIGHLY recommend you take his workshop on Picture Perfect Lighting if you truly want to take your photography to the next level! WOW thats 3 reviews now…can you tell I am impressed

I'm taking a portrait photography course at NYIP online. one of the mentors there recommended the posing book by Roberto. I ended up ordering at the library the posing and the perfect practice book. I fell in love with both books...ended up buying them and signing up here for the year membership just so I can take all of his photos courses. I spent most of my weekend doing perfect lighting course here I am in love with the way that he teaches! He makes something so difficult and challenging for me make sense. I also like that he challenges us photographers to be true professionals. I am thrilled to have discovered Roberto and already noticed my photography is better in the short time that I've been studying him.

Roberto has the personaliyy and gift to relate to others. He is honest and shared some of rhe disaters that occurred, even with high paying and important clients when he failed to follow his proven and tested approaches. He has shared from his extensive knowledge developed by hard work and effort to master his craft. His dedication in attacking his weaknesses and making them a strength is inspiring. I have purchased many CL classes and all have worth the investment so I hesitated to purchase this course because I didn't think there was much new information. However the clear teaching and extensive knowledge shared by Roberto in his unique style caused me to purchase it gladly and believe it is an exceptional value. Roberto has shared his extensive tools, but you will never be the master of the craft without putting in the hard work and testing that roberto testified to. Thanks again CL for bringing the best to us and Thank you Roberto for taking the time and preparation to achive excellance in in this class.
