Photoshop Mix & Fix Quick Demo

Photoshop Mix and Photoshop Fix. Let's take a look and see what we can do in here. So here, I have another donut, we've had a lot of donuts today. How can we not have any donuts to eat? All right. We're going to click on this guy. And what I want to do is, I can do lots of stuff in here, okay, but I'm just going to show you like one thing. I can cut out the background. So, let's just cut out. I guess I'll just use my pencil since I have it. And it says, "Smart." Oops, that's not what I wanted to do. Let's try that again. Cut out, I'm going to kind of do this. All right. And then, I can zoom in and I want to cut this part. Actually, I need to subtract that. So see, I have like a little add/subtract button over there, right, if I want to add, kind of add this edge. I think this recently got updated, if it's one of those things. It used to work better. So hopefully, it'll keep getting better because I feel like they broke something in here. But you know, these guys are new, right? They're...

new, they're always getting updated. They're a work in progress. Somebody who doesn't even know Photoshop can jump in here and do this, right? And bam, it's done, right? So now, I can take that and I can use it and whatever. I can, you know, throw it up on a webpage, I could do layers. Look, I can do new layers and I can bring something else in here. So I can add layers so I can combine images, right? So the tutorial in here, because these do have tutorials, this is the tutorial. I have it deleted though. And in this tutorial, you combine these two images in this little thing. And the cool thing is that they have files of people on Behance that have done stuff. Okay? Kind of cool, right? All right, you guys, we're almost done. Photoshop Fix, going to jump in here and I'm going to show you a couple of things. So, power lines, I was riding my bike. We have this place called Waterton Canyon These guys just hanging out, right? I'm like, "Okay, I'm going to go around you," just mountain goats hanging out in Colorado, right? No big deal. We have lots of wildlife. That's why my kitties, I had to take them out with me so they don't get eaten. All right, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to use my healing brush. I'm just going to use my finger. All right. I kind of messed it up but you could zoom in and you know, I can get really in here and I can change the size and hardness of my brush if I want to. I'm just trying to do it this quick so you can see what happens, right? I can get rid of all these ugly power lines and I'm sure I can get rid of my path and stuff too and be like, "Yeah, I hiked five miles back into the mountains. I did, I swear." Never. Okay. But anyway, you get the idea, right? So I can come here and I can do some work in here. And then, the other one, I had another picture. Here's my husband and I went to Las Vegas for his 50th birthday this year. And I could go, I haven't tried this on two faces, so fingers crossed. Yay, it worked. Okay, so remember, I said that, I showed you guys that facial liquify, it started actually in here. So, we can come in here. I'm going to leave my face alone. I'm going to pick on my husband. Right? And I can click on his eyes and it recognizes his eyes and I can like, change the size of his eyes. Look at this , let's give him a dorky smile. Right? And I can change that. I can change the height and width of his nose, right? Okay. I know I'm being ridiculous, but anyway, you can see, there's lots of fun stuff that you can do in here too. So, you know, I'm old, I like my Photoshop on my computer, but if I'm in a bind and I really want to do something and I really don't want to go from my, you know, my device to my computer, back to my device to post on social media , you know, you can't post on Instagram from here, right? You can only do it from a device. So instead of going back and forth, now we actually have stuff that we can come in and we can make changes, we can fix it up, we can make it pretty. And I'm telling you, if you're 12, you're going to do this. I'm not 12, but that's why I'm saying, our kids are taking over, okay? So, that's all I got.

Wow, I can't thank Creative Live enough for this class. I was blown away. This is just what I needed as I continue on my path of self growth and development. Please do yourself a favor and get this class, it is well worth the investment. After all the best investment is in yourself.

Great review on Creative Cloud especially, I've been confused about mainly colors, and the difference between saving as a search, a color theme, or in a CC library. Definitely helped and is full of info, Melissa is a very entertaining speaker as well and I loved the small bit of audience participation to get questions from others who might have similar thoughts about the programs they're not used to.
