Growing Your Reach Through Advocacy

while social networking is getting back to the roots of building community through engagement. The key to increasing your engagement online is to use your customers content to grow your business. Your customers become your advocates when they create user generated content, promoting your products or services. When your customers create content promoting your business and brand. You want to share that content, engage with your new brand advocate, the more you turn your customers into storytellers who become advocates for your brand, the more your content will generate engagement. Last year before I released my book, I built momentum by bringing people along with me on my writing journey. I posted inspirational content asking people who were excited about my book. I created a social media list of those who showed interest and then I directed those people to preorder my book when the covid pandemic hit like many other people I lost business, but I chose to see the opportunity and started ...

outlaw masks. My process of building advocacy with outlaw masks was similar to the way I built advocacy for my book. The end of marketing, I engaged with people online and kept a running list of everyone who bought my mask. I also encouraged these customers to post pictures and used those pictures as facebook ads for outlaw masks. Always remember social media is the Wild Wild West, which means there are no rules. That means your content needs to cut through the digital noise. So you stand out online and the more that you stand out online, the more you will get the attention and engagement that you want. Remember attention is the currency of social media, which means your audience's attention is not free. You need to give them a reason to give you their attention, and your reason needs to be better than your competitions.
