Lens Distort 3rd Party Application

one of my favorite third party apps to use is lens distortion. It is amazing for adding lighting effects, stars, flares, and even weather elements. It is a bit of a behemoth takes a lot of space but there's some fantastic elements. It is available for both iphone and android as with light room, there is a lot under the hood. So let me show you a few things First of all, this color panel is amazing. There's a ton available here. This company does a lot of color grading for film, so they have a lot in this particular area here. There is a desktop application for Photoshop and light room. It's a bit pricey though, but oh my, it's lovely. Then there are, the light hits my God, there are so many amazing light options in this panel. I'm not even showing you all of them. This is just the beginning of it. So you can imagine you can get some pretty spectacular special effects. Wait, there's more in the light volume, you get soft light and particulate and if you look at these you'll see you get ...

a soft, godlike raise. And then you also have some that have little particulates of light broken in it. It's absolutely gorgeous. And if I haven't sold it to you enough as it is, there are the overlays which have all sorts of beautiful sparkles and luminary and just re fractions absolutely gorgeous. I'm not even showing you 1/ of what's available in this section, not to be left out. We have the nature series. This is where you have a bunch of different fogs. If you see here, you've got fog, one fog to there's rain, there's classic snow, there's ethereal snow. It's absolutely staggering. How much is available under the hood here? I haven't even begun to talk about the editing that's available in this. So you'll see over here there's an edit button once you click on that, all these options come up and that has to do with each layer. So each element is its own layer which you can edit. So imagine what I'm talking about here is I added snow for stars and then I used erase to actually erase it out where the bridges, you can soften and blur your lights, you can change the brightness or the opacity. You can even add a color tint to your lights. I mean it's seriously crackers and what you can do here, I'm going to show you a quick little demo on adding these elements to an image. I do want to remind you some of these elements are pay extra for and you'll see that in the app.

I was so excited to be able to take this last course in the Mobile Photography series and as usual Lisa Carney did not disappoint! I just love her teaching style. She is relaxed, friendly and down to earth. She relates her techniques and processes in plain non techy talk and demonstrates it so you can follow along and learn. I have been a user of Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and now LR Mobile is my go to for most of my post processing work. I also learned about some great new apps for my iPhone and who knew you can take pictures through LR Mobile! Thank you Lisa for putting together this mobile series!

Solid start to my Wednesday, Thank you for great job hosting Kate Dessa. Lisa Carney always gives everything she has in all her tutorials/webinars I have experienced. She continues to "give" and "share" her knowledge and true passion for her craft with everyone, thank you both for this mornings kickoff!
