Sharing & Discovering with Lightroom

One of my favorite modules is versions and versions allows you to make multiple copies of the same image with a bunch of different edits. And it is incredibly powerful because imagine if you really artistically want to explore and you want to try different looks with versions, you're not committed to anyone. Look, you can have a do a tone more of a black and white image. You can go back to the original, you can go back to your edit that you have made and then make additional adjustments. Like let's say, I want to make something a little dark here, moody, something a little, I don't know, spooky looking, whatever it is. And then after you make these additional edits, you can go back and save this as a new version with a new name. And keep in mind what's amazing about all of this is it's non destructive. That means at any given moment. You can always go back to the original super powerful tool only found in Light room Mobile. I'd like to talk to you about sharing your work and sharing yo...

ur eggs getting out there. So in Light room you can actually share your edits by clicking on the send button here and click on share edits and it will actually make a quicktime video of all of your edits and what you did to the images. It clicks down through the the modules and then if you feel like it, you can say, hey, you can save my presets out and use them for your own work. And it's just this Generosity of the art community that I think is really amazing. Now. In addition to sharing edits, you can also discover people's edits. And this is how you can learn. So share, discover, participate in the community.

I loved this short class & how accessible Lisa made it. Although some of the recommended equipment does have a cost, I appreciated Lisa's take on what matters: fun in the process and final product (it's not always about investing in super-expensive equipment). I loved seeing the photo reels that she shared; it gave me lots of ideas for a project I am working on. A few suggestions toward composite photos and experimentation made this seem just like so much fun!

Another winner by Lisa Carney. This is my second class of hers and I really like her teaching style. She has a relaxed way of approaching the material and makes it fun and clear. She inspired me once again to purchase a few new tools including a macro lens and I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to diving into more of her classes.
