On Set - Interacting with Clients

smiles too cute. Cool. Get a little closer here. Have you seen the Spider man? No, this is soundtracked it. So no matter what business you have, you're gonna have to interact with your clients. Um I have, I had a wedding photography business for a very long time and I learned that um the business aspect of it through the wedding photography and setting things up. That was a really good practice in dealing with clients. It's a little different when you're doing headshots and modeling, where you have to direct them as well as deal with business. The biggest thing that I would say is to just be as accommodating as possible if you can be as pleasant as possible if you can and try to help them relax as much as possible. Um with the business aspect of it, making sure you present everything for, don't try to cheat or lie or or you know have smoke and mirrors because it's just not a good idea. Um but in addition to that, once you get them in front of camera you want them to be as relaxed and a...

s trusting as possible. Um A lot of times when people are in front of camera um they're in a very vulnerable state. Um You know, and I feel that way when the camera is turned on me, I still feel a little nervous and vulnerable and it's a good idea that you start that process as soon as you start talking to them if they don't trust you during the business aspect of it, filling out contracts, getting dates, responding quickly to emails. Um They're not gonna be the best person they can be in front of camera so I think just you know being relaxed, Being chill. Being a friend uh is really the best way to have a good business interaction with your clients. Alright. Cool. Um Yeah looks nice. Cool. Okay I like the little guy on your, on your shirt. Yeah. Uh address vendors on the street, it's like that's cute. Alright cool. Yeah smiles. And then can you look down here that little guy and then smile and look back up at me? That's cute. That's fun. Yeah. That's cool. And then can you turn your whole head that way real quick and then look right back at it. Yeah. Nice. I'm gonna get a lot closer here. Cool smiles. Yeah. Okay, hold on, get a little bit higher on you. Nice. That's cool. And then um can you look with just your eyes? Can you look that way? Yeah. Very good. And then look back at me. Yeah let's keep smile cool and then you drop your hands if you want. Yeah I think that smile makes you smile look like naturally nice. Cool. Uh And then bring your left shoulder like towards me quite a bit. Yeah. Yeah. Cool. Two. Yeah. Trying to get this light in. Cool. And then smiles. Yeah come right here with that little dot. Yeah let's start there. That's cool. Yeah you can play with your hair to stuff, yep, dope. Very good. Nice. Look up into the light. Cool, Cool. Artsy one Too. Oh cool, I love that. Yeah, I think the more you can just play around with stuff and I'll just fire away um the better these for these kind of uh you know, just whatever you're feeling because like just, just think about when you're, when you're like this is black void and this is like, it's just that. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, yeah, that's cool. Nice. We got kind of close. Cool, cool. Let's um let's do like square your shoulders square off to me. Yeah, and then look down towards that direction. Yeah, and then slowly pan and look to your right? Yeah, Cool, cool. And then look up at the light and it might be kind of hurting but yeah, look at me and then bring your right shoulder towards me. Yeah, that's good. And then feel free to play with your arms, like kevin, hold up your hair. Yeah, cool. Until you had even more to your right. Yeah, there you go and then mess with your hair a little bit brad. Cool. You want to see some of these, maybe see some stuff that you might want to try? Oh my camera's gonna catch up. Yes, she does
