so there's a way that you can stay organized and that's with a content calendar. You know, Rachel is on top of our content calendar. It is in a Google doc and I go in there and look at what's going on knowing that my content that I'm posting on instagram aligns with our content calendar because we have a lot of different launches and things going on, so it needs to be in sync. So these were things to consider. You want to really think about what platforms you're gonna be active on. So when you put this content calendar together, you're gonna have notations on which ones you've committed. Teoh which social channels and by the end of today, hopefully old and have an idea of what those should be, What accounts you're gonna have that you're gonna prioritize. And remember, I did say the very beginning that you want to grab your name if you can. And if you don't want to commit to that platform, just keep it on private so somebody else doesn't take it, especially if you think you're going to ...

be growing your business. But you're overwhelmed and you can't imagine doing one more platform. I say, Just get your name so somebody else doesn't take it, Um, And then decide what projects you're going to be working on like each week. So that's what we do. We know what you were doing every week. We know what we're doing every month. We know what we're doing every quarter, and then we know what we have planned out for a year. So we try to have yearly goals, but we all Morgan, Rachel and I meet every quarter in person, and we set these goals. So this is what the calendar looks like. So again, there's no dates. So I want you to know I want you to feel the thin based on which one you're going, what you're gonna focus on. So maybe it's a blawg. Maybe it's instagram Facebook or live streaming. So you get to the side, and then if you break it down to the next one, you can see that it's just it's simply the top category here. So you start feeling this calendar, you start filling it out, left to right, and you want to use your published content that we talked about on the show. You here to pull people. So this goes for each week. So you want a public your published content to reflect your focus for the week for your social channels to promote and discuss your published content. So that's the and remember, everything goes back to what you want to focus on. That's so these are questions that you want to ask yourself. How much time can you actually spend hosting and engaging on social media? You need to know how much time you have in the day. Um, and, you know, maybe you should be setting. I can't believe that Brian sets ah timer, but maybe you need to be setting a timer because a lot of people that get on a blab and watch a blab don't get off over an hour and 1/ 1 by or you're on periscope on your own for a long time. And it was 1/2 an hour a day or your in Facebook and you're despairing like Where did the day go? You really need to be very conscious of how much time your spending in places you shouldn't be and how much time you want to be spending on social media. And how much published content can you actually create? What can you commit to creating that's going to stay there and be evergreen so that people can find you? And that is the content that you really need to think long and hard about and that I think, you know, that's the content that takes longer. Is green those YouTube videos having those flight shares creating those blog's? But they live on forever, and I know that people have found content from me that was created years ago. But it's still there, and people are finding it, and that might be there first. Touchpoints, remember what we said. If it's their first touch point, you want to make sure it's a good touch point and that it's consistent with your branding and on point and then what platforms can be scheduled. So we do schedule our tweets using sprout social or social sprout pro social. I think when Morgan gets its pro social, yes, and so we schedule our tweets. We occasionally schedule our Facebook post, but most of the time I have to be honest. We are in the moment on social I do not use later, Graham you heard Sonny say that she uses later. Graham, my brain can come up with Instagram post all day long. I don't feel like I need to schedule it. I like tea post on instagram based on what's going on in my life that day or in the news so I could be totally current and fresh. That's a luxury that I have because I have a team around me that does other things so I don't have to schedule. But that is a great scheduling tool, if you need it. So, you know, decide on what you could use to offload, you know, maybe, like Sonny said on Sunday, she sits down and you create all those tweets. Maybe use your Google alerts. They come in and you organize your content that you gonna push out on Facebook. I think if you and I'm curious of anyone in the audience, carry your kind nodding. If anyone in the audience has scheduling tools that they like or is really diligent about their scheduling pattern for their social, can anybody contribute with the mike? I would love to hear from you guys. Well, I use if then then that from my twitter of going from my instagram of my twitter. I also used ah, cold scheduler fall of my published content. That way I could schedule all the way out through the month and maybe even two months if I wonder what's going to with that cold schedule co schedule. Uh huh. Hey, I never heard about eso. Whenever you are doing, I put it in my WordPress, and whenever I do a blogger or whatever I just plug it in is a plug in, and it will actually schedule it from the day all the way out to a month. One way I went. Wow. And how do you spell that? A CO and his schedule. And is there a dashes coast A years co dash dot com. Okay, so good to know. New tool for Scooby. Write it down. You guys any any other ones that use that you like. I also used Ah, who's sweet and, uh, for our Facebook page for the podcast. I actually use Ah, page Motive page modem. Great. I never heard of that either. He great. So I use meet Edgar for evergreen content. So, like all the podcast will rotate through because they're always valuable. Or some YouTube videos. Just very select information. Not everything. Just very select. And I've seen a real difference in my engagement. By doing that, I would have I put it in. It's over. I'm done. I don't have to think about it again. Okay, great. All right. I'm gonna keep going with the slides, but thank you, guys. I just learned I told you, we're all We're all learning from each other, right? All right. So and then this is me saying, you know what platforms for You need to be in real time. So obviously periscopes in real time for me, Instagram's in real time, and that's that works for me. I know that Rachel likes to post on Facebook in real time as well.

I have done several social media courses - nothing compares to this..... The emphasis consistently with each AMAZING presenter, about BRANDING YOU and STAYING ON POINT with all your social media efforts really hit home for me. I had never given it THAT MUCH THOUGHT.. WOW !! The audience participation sharing their tools and how they cross promote their list building and community building was a fabulous addition to the processes shared by the presenters... Sue B. Zimmerman's *Get Social: Connecting Your Business Channels* is one of the best I've seen of it's kind (or the best). It was easy to see that each guest speaker was prepared and truly loved what they were talking about - people can feel that. The energy was contagious. But, like everything else, one has to be diligent and follow those strategies that applies to them and their projects. It takes work! What I liked most was that although Sue brought all these experts together in one place to speak to us, she DID NOT make us feel as if we MUST master EACH and EVERY social networking channel in order to be successful.
