All right tomorrow well let's do some q and a before we take our next break yes let me know if you have any in the studio yet post production and light room or is it a mixture of different application so nowadays I outsource my production for the most part the bulk of it I send it to photo fatah I have them send them all my cold images so I'll come back with the five hundred images and I'll send them the sixty that I want they set him up in color and black and white send them back to me and then I do all the finishing touches and deliver it to my clients so do the finishing touches I do a mass crop in light room and then pop it out to photo shop and send it or even more and more now I could bring it into my leo which I'll talk about a lot tomorrow on do a ton of it right in the application and pop it out photoshopping light room if I want a swell that was my question is inter cooling process are you cropping is well yeah I don't have to do any crop because I think so as you can see so ...
much of the artistry is in the way you're going to present it yes absolutely for the most part I am very very much of the mindset of I don't want to do mass editing anymore I mean, I just don't I did it for so long I don't have I'm talking about how do you make this job joyful when I'm gonna shoot it's joyful I love it it's about the photography it's about connection it's about the interaction there's no way I'm going to show that as well. If I'm not joyful and having fun too, I just can't take it that well s o I'm to make sure I have a lot of fun too, and when I'm sitting there in mass editing, I can't stand it so as I make it simpler and simpler, simply simply aaron simply ir yeah, let's go with that for myself, and so I'm spending less time. I just do the final touches that really want to do if I could do that quickly in photo shop or in my leo that's what I'm gonna d'oh we're going through my own detail tomorrow, by the way, because I've had a lot of questions about that. Great now you've talked about this camera a good amount, but for a bit below win on this awesome boots too. What do you find to be the parents favorite pictures laughing, smiling, running versus posed quiet, serious, but we were look at everything what could tell you one thing that I that's really common across the board is that the photograph that always gets purchased is the one where the family's all together and they all look good and looking at the camera always like I don't not sell that and it's funny because a lot of photographers resist that we're going to touch on this later today I think it's so significant to find out why you might care so much about photographing families if you can make that shift for yourself you find that those kind of images are no longer hard to dio and and I hear that and I've said that I hear and I have said the comments like I don't want to do the ever look at the camera smile I want to be created that would be fun to be out there, you know, shifting things and mixing it up and delivering something they didn't even know they wanted well, I will do that as much as I want I get to do that a time but I'm going to start out with the base of delivering to them what I know they most want it's going to secure the sail it's going to be something that has actually significantly more meaningful than this staid shot if I can bring out the expressiveness and I can show that connection and the way they belong to each other if I could do that it's going to be more meaningful for everybody and it's maybe something I'm drawn to doing versus I feel like I have to knock out for the client. I am currently drawn to doing that. When we did the lighting demo, it was a little challenging for me because I'm trying to show off with lighting and all I can think about is I just want out, hang out with them. I want to shoot with them. I want to show you howto put them together. But the lighting is kind of a different factor, which is why this is being in the thick of the shoot is to me a lot more of what it's about.

Tamara's appreciation for love and family are so apparent in her style of interaction with people and methods of photographing them. In this class she shares everything from the basics of connecting with your clients to the importance of in person sales sessions and how to do them without being uncomfortable. I love Tamara's energy and sense of humor. She really emphasizes how important it is to be self confident and love what you do. This class is amazing. I can barely sit still through a movie these days, but I was entranced through 3 consecutive days of highly valuable information. I am thankful to have this class in my CL library. I am sure I will refer to it often.

Thank you! Thank you for bringing Tamara back to Creative Live! She is one of my favorite teachers! She has a bubbly effervescence as she teaches. I like her teaching style and never tire of her message in photography. What can I say- it's Tamara Lackey, so of course it was AMAZING! I learned so much, about relationships, self awareness, lighting, portraiture, posing, gear, marketing, products, I could just go on and on. Tamara has an incredible ability to truly connect with her clients (and her students)- and she taught us how to do it! I admire Tamara on so many levels and I appreciate how much of herself and her own business practices she was willing to share. Her new organization Beautiful Together is inspiring.
